Koulla Roussos
Founding Partner
Koulla Roussos has over 25 years experience as a criminal defense lawyer and is the founding partner of K.E. Roussos and Associates.
Koulla’s industry experience includes working for Aboriginal legal services (NAALAS, NAAJA, KRALAS, CAALAS), Fitzroy Legal Service and Victoria Legal Aid. From 1998 to 2000, she coordinated one of Australia’s largest and most politically significant test cases, Cubillo & Gunner- the Stolen Generation litigation case.
In 2012, Koulla became the first Darwin born Greek woman barrister in the Northern Territory. She appeared in the 2014 Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and in the 2016/17 NT Royal Commission into Youth Detention. In 2024, Koulla left the Bar and founded K. E. Roussos and Associates.
She brings her significant experience to her criminal law background extending her skills in related matters including representation and advocacy to Domestic Violence and Personal Violence applications, proceedings under the NT’s Firearms and Liquor Acts, licensing matters, NT Work Safe prosecutions, and AHPRA and Teachers’ Board Disciplinary hearings.
Koulla brings strategic depth to all matters. She is a proven team leader who spearheads complex assault, sexual assault, drug and fraud matters. Her extensive experience in criminal defense assists clients navigate the complexity of the criminal justice system.
Aside from legal practice, Koulla has a keen interest in art and curatorship. She has independently produced contemporary art exhibitions, worked as a freelance art critic, and lectured in Arts Law at the Melbourne Polytechnic. She annually commissions local visual artists for original works to add to the practice growing art collection.
Koulla is fluent in Modern Greek and adept at working with interpreters to provide a culturally appropriate service to clients from diverse backgrounds, a skill she values as a Territorian and shares with her team members.

Harry Hollingsworth
Senior Criminal Lawyer
Harry Hollingsworth holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class Honours from Charles Darwin University. He has worked extensively in criminal practice, including as a solicitor employed by Robert Welfare and Associates and as a prosecutor at the Department of Public Prosecutions. He has also operated as a sole practitioner at Hollingsworth Legal.
Harry has a wealth of experience in all aspects of criminal law including running contested matters, presenting pleas in mitigation, applying for bail, arguing appeals and instructing in trials. He prides himself on providing high quality legal services in a timely, compassionate and culturally appropriate manner.
With significant competency in digital systems and technology, Harry has exceptional skills in complex trials involving large quantities of electronic evidence, thus making him an invaluable team member in large scale criminal litigations. He is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for his clients.
Harry was a volunteer solicitor at Darwin Community Legal Service for many years and has also tutored in criminal law at Charles Darwin University.
Outside of work, Harry enjoys fishing, motorcycles and bee keeping.

Lee Campbell
Criminal Lawyer
Lee Campbell holds a Bachelor of Laws from Charles Darwin University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, as well as a Master of Education and a Graduate Diploma in TESOL. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 2017 and in the High Court of Australia in 2017.
Lee is also a trained mediator.
Before joining K E Roussos and Associates, Lee worked as a corporate lawyer at Minter Ellison, as a summary prosecutor at the Department of Public Prosecutions, and as a senior policy lawyer at the Attorney-General’s Department. She has also worked in teaching and in journalism.
She developed an interest in criminal law in her youth and finally graduated in Law from CDU when the course was offered online and she could study from her place of employment at the time, in PNG.
Bringing her wealth of experience in the Local Court, she provides timely, quality advice and robust representation in complex bail applications, pleas and contested hearings.
Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the Top End’s crabbing environment, the outdoor lifestyle and the Deckchair Cinema. She has lived and worked in Indonesia, PNG, Mongolia and Kiribati, and speaks basic Bahasa Indonesian.
